Art deco, a style that emerged in the 1920s and 1930s in response to rapid industrialization and social changes, fascinates me with its beauty and elegance. Art deco was influenced by various artistic movements, such as Cubism, Futurism, Constructivism, and Bauhaus, and expressed a sense of luxury, glamour, and sophistication through geometric shapes, rich colors, and intricate patterns.
As an illustrator and painter, I have been inspired by the works of art deco masters such as Tamara de Lempicka, Erte, Cassandre, and Sonia Delaunay. I admire their use of bold contrasts, dynamic compositions, and stylized forms to create striking images that capture the spirit of their time. I also love their use of gold as a symbol of wealth, power, and prestige, as well as a decorative element that adds warmth and sparkle to their artworks.
My own style is a blend of art deco and my personal vision. I like to draw portraits of women who embody the ideals of femininity, independence, and confidence that I admire. I also like to draw scenes from nature, such as flowers, birds, and landscapes, that reflect my appreciation for the beauty and harmony of the natural world. I use gold as a recurring motif in my works, not only for its aesthetic appeal, but also for its meaning. Gold represents the sun, the source of life and energy; it also represents wisdom, creativity, and spirituality. Gold is a color that connects me to my inner self and my higher purpose.
I hope that through my illustrations and paintings, I can share my passion for art deco and gold with others. I hope that my works can inspire people to see the beauty and potential in themselves and in the world around them.
I hope that my works can bring joy and light to those who appreciate them.
